We had a wonderful Rosh Hashanah and start to our new year. Shaina LOVED playing with the big kids at Synagogue and family and friends all stopping to love on her. She went to a kids service and loved looking so pretty in her dresses. Ryan and I enjoyed telling people our exciting news of another baby and seeing family and friends. Samet, her boyfriend Jesse, and Brandon came in to celebrate with us and Shaina LOVED having them around. Since all of our birthdays are within a week of eachother, my mom and dad had a birthday cake for us on the first day of the holiday. It was wonderful to celebrate both our birthdays and Rosh Hashanah together.
About 20 years ago (that seems like such a long time ago!!!), my mom had bought me and my siblings fake wax lips and we took a picture with them in our mouths. Ten years later, she found them at a store and we took another picture. My mom has those two pictures side by side in a frame in her house. Samet found them at a store and since it was 10 years since the most recent picture, we took another one on the same couch as the first picture and this time included Ryan in the picture. What great memories!!

We are looking forward to fall weather and celebrating the fall and winter holidays together! October 27th we find out the sex of the baby and we are so excited! We will share the sex of the baby, but not the name until it is born. Shaina's going to be such a great big sister!!
