July and August

We have had a busy July and August filled with celebrations and our big summer trip up to DC and NY. First, we celebrated GG's 60th birthday downtown Greensboro with local friends and family. It was a wonderful way to celebrate GG and thank her for everything she does for EVERYONE!

A few weeks after that, we were off to Washington, DC to spend a couple of days with Great Aunt Ronni and Uncle Rick!

We also saw Uncle B and Aunt Samet which was a fun treat!

Aunt Ronni taught Shaina how to put on make-up and even gave her some of her own to take home.

Then we kept travelling north to visit Grandma and Grandpa and surprise them with a party for their 40th anniversary! It was so fun seeing so much family and friends!

We also went to White Post Farm on Long Island. There was a fun zoo, a train to ride on, and inflatables!! It was perfect weather and we had a great time!

Daddy also showed Shaina and Mira the playground that he used to play on when he was a little boy in Brooklyn. We met Cousin Michele and her boyfriend, Mike, at the best Kosher Deli in Brooklyn, too! YUMMM!!!!!

It was nice being away, but "there's no place like home!"
