In February, we took the girls to the Circus! An hour before the actual performance started, we got to go see the animals getting groomed before their big debut. We saw elephants, zebras, tigers, and more up close! Then we got to go down on the floor where the circus took place and visit with the clowns. Shaina was a little overwhelmed at first, but warmed up once the show started. Mira was dancing, clapping, and shreiking with excitement the whole pre-show. Once the lights went out and the circus started, she layed her head on my shoulder and fell asleep. A good time was had by all!
This blog is created for our family and friends who are near and far! Enjoy!

Two adventures in Jan/Feb
Late January, we met up with some friends in Durham at the Museum of Life and Science. Shaina and Jeremy have known eachother since they were in the womb (the mommies are good friends) and so we thought we'd meet up to explore the museum and have lunch. It was one of the coldest days of the year, but we still decided to go on the train ride and visit the various buildings within the museum. We saw live butterflies in the butterfly garden, a real space shuttle, things that taught us about the weather, and lots of bugs and animals! The adults had as much fun as the kids!!
