You know how there are some weekends where it's all play and no productivity? And there are some weekends where there is all productivity and no play? Well, this Memorial Day weekend we had a little bit of both (productivity AND play) and it was awesome! We have started to hang up pictures in our new house which definitely makes it feel like home. There are still boxes everywhere, but those are becoming less.
Sunday morning we picked up Dani's parents and all went to Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury. It is about an hour away. The weather was HOT, but not too bad while we were there. Since it was Sunday and most people are in church, it wasn't crowded. We went on a little train ride, walked through a zoo area and saw bears, deer, woodchucks, and more, played on 2 different playgrounds perfect for Shaina and Mira, and rode the Carousel about a zillion times. The Carousel was definitely the girls' favorite. We packed a picnic lunch and ate on the grounds there, played a little more and then went home. It was so much fun!!
