We had another first for the Luft girls! Their first parade!! On Wednesday, July 4th, we went downtown and saw the parade. They got candy, saw Uncle Sam, lots of politicians handing out flyers to vote for them, and waved and smiled at everyone marching down the street.

We then went over to see their favorite local childrens band Big Bang Boom! If you don't remember them

It was so hot, we went to GG and Poppy's for a delicious lunch, then home for nap. That evening we had friends over to celebrate our Nation's birthday.
And speaking of Birthdays......someone with the initials RSL is having a birthday this upcoming week.......
